The RR81 Charity was set up following the death of Rhys Rubery in 2016, aged just 16 years old.

Rhys was a remarkable young man. Though his time with us was far too brief, his laughter, kindness, and infectious personality left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. To keep his legacy alive and to ensure that Rhys continues to make a difference, RR81 was established.

The main aim of RR81 is to support opportunities, particularly for young people, to enjoy experiences that could otherwise be limited by a lack of funds or facilities. Whether it’s for education, sports activities, or community projects, we strive to create a world where every young person can pursue their dreams and passions, just as Rhys did.

This is something that Rhys would have wanted.
